day one hundred and five: 247

'hide and seek. make something that someone else has to find. provide a map or clues to lead seekers to the location where it's hidden.'

a few years ago i discovered an activity called geocaching & i've been hooked since. i thought this prompt was perfect for this activity. i've hid a geocache before and wanted to do another so i put together a container, added some goodies including 2 snail like seashells and a geocoin that my brother found called a travel slug. i named the geocache "a snail without a shell is just a slug" because the coin says slug but it has a shell so i was telling my brother it had to be a snail! if you don't know what geocaching is, visit the website www.geocaching.com and check out the video (link in upper right hand corner of blue box). and if you ever visit auburn, california...here are the coordinates to my cache!
N 38 degrees 51.646
W 121 degrees 05.820

  1. The kids stumbled across one of these caches years ago, it was fun! We signed the book and left a dime (it was all we had) Does the slug have a website to go to so that you can post where it was found to see it's travels?
