'get the point. use toothpicks as your main material or inspiration today.'i started out trying to make a perfect swirl, but the toothpicks would NOT stay where i wanted them to. it didn't help that they were round and not the square kind. after many attempts i finally just pushed them altogether to start over but i ended up liking the look of them all just piled on top of each other. i'm not sure i have done a snail without the swirled center and i was worried to stray from it, but i ended up liking it a lot. instead of taking an hour on getting it right, this messy snail only took a few minutes.
